2. State the Week's reasoning question

5. Complete discussions and collaborative work

6. Protect identity, practice, and research boundaries

7. Run the Week 6 quality gate

Three Week 6 pitfalls, and the fix for each

The first pitfall is self-repetition presented as integration, where earlier paragraphs return in lightly edited form. Beyond the originality problem, it consumes the space the new reasoning needed. The fix is the removal test described above, applied to every passage that references earlier work: if deleting the earlier premise changes nothing downstream, rewrite the passage or cut it.

The second pitfall is name-dropping constructs without letting them do work. A paragraph can mention three theoretical terms and still make no theoretical claim. The fix is to require that each named construct be followed by a sentence stating what it predicts or explains about your specific population, and to delete any name that cannot produce such a sentence.

The third pitfall is losing the population boundary while widening the frame. Integration invites generalization, and the definition set in the opening Weeks quietly stretches to accommodate a broader argument. The fix is to keep the reconciliation sheet open while drafting and to check each new claim against the recorded boundary, changing the boundary deliberately and noting the change rather than allowing it to drift.
