2. State the Week's reasoning question

Three Week 2 pitfalls, and the fix for each
Pitfall: a discussion contribution that summarizes the readings. Summary is safe, invisible, and scores at the floor of any analysis row. The fix is to open with the claim, spend the body on the mechanism connecting determinant to outcome, and use the reading as support rather than as subject. One defensible sentence beats four accurate ones that decide nothing.
Pitfall: letting the cadence mean starting when the deadline is close. Where replies, feedback, or group steps are part of the Week, the calendar has two or three pressure points, not one, and the second is easy to miss after the main piece is submitted. The fix is to block the reply or follow-up window in the same place the main deadline is recorded, and to treat that block as fixed rather than optional.
