Five mistakes that cost points at the problem stage
- A problem written as a topic. Nurse burnout is a subject, not a gap. Until a rate is compared against a standard, no rubric row has anything measurable to score.
- A site chosen for convenience rather than access. Working where you already have a badge helps only if someone there can approve a workflow change and release the data.
- Statistics imported without a local link. National figures establish significance only when a sentence connects them to the population your own unit serves.
- Scope written to impress. Three units and two measures reads like ambition to a student and like a stall to a seasoned reviewer.
